So you are preparing your 10 day honeymoon in Italy in February. The average daily temperature is at a daily high of 57degrees and a daily low of 30degrees. You are traveling with your new hubby, visiting at least 5 cities and doing it all by train. So, how do you do this and still look impeccable while doing it.


The first thing to remember is that you don't want to carry around a lot of luggage. You want to have at least one free hand so that you can do touristy things. So, the challenge that we are here to solve today for our fabulous new bride Tamar Cohen is how to pack for a 10 day trip to Italy and fit everything into one suitcase.


We don't like frumpy. We don't like backpacks (unless they are LV) and we don't like the idea of a whole lot of khakis and sweats. So, this is our 10 day Italy guide that I hope helps!!!


Your List of Essentials

3 white tees, 3 white tanks, a pair of khaki and denim skinnys, 2 pair of your favorite jeans, chunky sweaters, a sweater vest, one puffy coat, one wool coat, black leggings, brown leggings, a great dinner dress, a crisp white shirt, one pair of flat boots, one pair of wedge boots, a nude, black and a color pump, perhaps a patent one thrown in there.

You want to wear some of the heaviest items to the airport. And if you want to change your look, take off the boots and put on your pumps.

Idea One



If you have to pack one pair of khakis, please do so with a pair that is a shade of green or a blue. Pair that with a white long tank and some sort of off the shoulder chunky sweater. Add a great cocktail ring if you would like but this is casual, sexy, sheek. Pair this with a great flat boot or if you can stand to be in heels, pair it with a great wedge. You can travel in this on the train with a great long scarf and forgo the coat. A over sized bag with all of your essential items is a must.






Idea Two



Another idea that we love is to pair a pair of vintage or worn skinnys with those flat or boots, a long white tee and a chunky sweater in any color.













Idea Three

A great pair of leggings, a sweater type vest and a white long sleeve tee. You could pair this with a great tall flat black boot or open toed booties to transition into a night time dinner.
